What should we explore next?

Technology is changing not only what we can do, but what we need to learn to do well together. The smart-machine age calls for more than technical fluency: it asks us to bring greater wisdom, imagination, humility, empathy, and responsibility to the choices ahead.

What to Pack for the Future is a lifelong research project exploring how people can adapt to technology while helping humanity grow in understanding, capability, and care. We believe the answers won’t come from any one person, company, think tank, country but from a structured experimentations. They will emerge when people share ideas, question assumptions, test possibilities, and learn from one another.

We welcome contributions from researchers, artists, educators, technologists, students, parents, and curious people from every walk of life. Bring us a question you can’t stop thinking about, an experiment you’ve tried, a skill you believe the future will require, or a vision for technology that helps people flourish.

What should we learn, practice, and bring forward as intelligent machines become part of our lives? Share your ideas and help us stay on target for what’s important to all of us—not just how to stay relevant, but how to help us all rise to the need for all of humanity.
